I know everyone says "I never leave reviews but..." - well, in my case, that's true, BUT ... in all of my 53 years of having cats in my life, I've never had one take to a new item so quickly! (except for cardboard boxes. duh) I set my very sweet slightly arthritic-middle-aged cat, Matilda, on her new bed and SHE DIDN'T MOVE. slept on it all day - and has done that all day every day since! I have to hide it under a pile of clothes at night so that she'll keep sleeping with me! (The next day, I ordered a 2nd one for my other cat, lest she find out about the favoritism)

My kitties took to the bed immediately. Matter of fact I had to buy another. I would love to see a larger, 2 cat bed at some point. My cats like to sleep together so it creates quite a pile up with the single size. Also the herbal pads are so fabulous to my cats that they peel them off and carry them around the house! So not sure it’s working as intended LOL.

I was cautiously optimistic because our kitties are 10 and 13 years young so we wanted to get them something nice. Neither of them take up new things easily but both started sleeping on their new beds immediately. It doesn't even have to be heated. They look so comfortable in them. I was surprised but now I believe in this product.

The box was immediately inundated when it arrived in the house and the cats each tried it while still in the box. We have three cats and only one knead bed, which means there is a premium on who gets to the bed first (our cats have gotten rather creative about luring one cat our so they can get in it themselves). I foresee a few more beds in the future just to keep the peace. In short they all love it!.

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 3-4 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
The bed warms to a safe cat-friendly 104°F (40°C) within 3 - 4 minutes, with smart controls to prevent overheating.Settings:
- 4-Hour Heating Mode (Red Indicator): Press the button once: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 4 hours.
- 8-Hour Heating Mode (Blue Indicator): Press the button twice: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 8 hours.
- Therapy mode (Green Indicator): The 30-minute herbal therapy mode gently heats to 113°F (45°C). When used with the included herbal pads, it delivers targeted warmth to promote blood circulation and relieve arthritis-related discomfort.
Press and hold the button at any time until the green light appears. After 30 minutes, the system will automatically switch to the 4-hour heating mode (red light).
- Power Off: Press the button three times.
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I wash and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
- The cover is fully washable and will remain in perfect condition for about 40 washes.
- Unzip the outer cover, and wash in a laundry bag in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry.
- Do NOT tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.The foam mattress is water-resistant and can be wiped with a wet cloth.
